Pagadian – City Councilor Alex Co JR a legislator as well as the chairman of the city tourism council   move toward for the growth of  the city tourism destination so as to level up the fast development that had made  by the City Mayor  Samuel S. Co.

The development of Pagadian  encourage business men to erect 8-storey hotel and restaurant buildings ,malls and other businesses on top of negative investment result.

In contrast business men think of the panoramic sight and the progress of the place and projected visible business result.

The development of the city of Pagadian is not an anecdote or a tale that can be told short   in a way that private and public giant infrastructures are erected at the horizon part of the City. When ask ,’’ the young councilor has been talking about the growth of Pagadian City ‘’ before you can only see the 2-giant fast food chains in Pagadian City , like JOLLIBEE and MACDONALD . But gone were those days’’.

‘’ We invited so many big establishments here  to increase the employment in the entire city and  to help also the new graduates of the family children residences for employment here instead of going to other cities ‘’.

Pagadianons that had been working out of the country for so many years and come back for this year can really see how fast is the evolution of the city .It has been evolving through its leader’s strength of mind now we have had big malls , branded groceries stores , well known coffee shops , and more national fast food chains like MANG INASAL at the Gaisano Capital .

People have seen that the biggest factor that added to the fast economic growth of the city is the airport that has re-opened a year- ago.  This has greatly linked us to the 2- giant cities in the country .Having an airport is like having a sky bridge to Manila and Cebu and it added options for PAGADIANONS to look for business opportunities and other destination purposes.  

 

The airport is not only for use in business but it makes the most of vacation trips  and  invites domestic and foreign tourists  to come in the city because of the availability of the air travel communication the CEBU PACIFIC  and the AIR PHILIPPINES .

In the past few -year the city government has been hosting professional examinations and varied national activities since the city LGU has the confidence to accommodate thousands of participants because of the booming hotels rising at the heart of the city.

The city can fights and insists for all of these things happen because of the consistency for being the REGIONAL CENTER of WESTERN MINDANAO.
