Pagadian City –Samuel S. Co the City Mayor so as the people called him as the ICON of the development by the greatest challenged that he tacked and took risk in erecting extremely large malls and other public infrastructures.
Co conveyed business men to erect standardized 4- storey building like hotels and other business structures with a certain offer that the building permit expenditures and other fees can be paid right after 5-year of time.
Beside of infrastructures the city mayor do the best with his objectives to help the common people in the community especially in the rural areas he had set a livelihood program encouraging to plant vegetables, fruit trees and extend more programs in farming sanction to the city agriculturist.
Beyond accomplishments employment is progressively takes in the city particularly in commerce and trade like sales lady restaurant crews and office assistants.
As a result the stability of the livelihood of the common people especially the less privilege constituents sustained their basic needs because less privilege family children who graduated from city councilor scholarships are the benefactors of good employment in the city.
The Co’s administration describes for the poor and for the rich that the city Local Government Unit is extended an equal program to support the employees, farmers, less privilege constituents ,small entrepreneurships and giant businesses, educators and for the children.
Samuel Co leads upon the implementation both private and public giant Infrastructures like Gaisano Mall, City Commercial Center (C3) the only mall in the Philippines owned by LGU, the standardized 4-storey buildings of private big hotels and the dancing fountain ever in the south that visitors from different places are coming just to observe the convincing view as one with the music.
People are so much thankful with the hard work tendered by Sammy Co with good objective to change the feature of Pagadian .
Before it was a very small city hence it is found in the map but unknowingly to the people who never focus in the current events but right in the reign of CO it labels to a beautiful City’’ Pagadian’’ and the Hongkong of the South and now it is a very popular and it spreads to the island of Visayas, Luzon as well as to foreign countries and it is already well known through electronic media.
With the success of the programs of the city mayor the common people believed that good governance is in place in the city and to the 54 barangays of Pagadian.
