LAS PINAS – Congresswoman Cynthia A.Villar an elected representative from 2001 to 2010 same as the managing director of Villar Foundation.
Since to date she worked from the hardest in line with the livelihood program for obtaining good projects for economic sustainable in expanding better life especially to the less privilege constituents and initiated education drives in sustenance for the moral values in every member of the family.
Congresswoman Villar have had helped the people of Las Pinas by heart with full of generosity in the fact that she taught the people to do the work sincerely in order to sustain life and faces economic problems simply.
All people in the community in Las Pinas were being taught to recycle the garbage those were segregated to each uses like the biodegradable and non-biodegradable.
This is the reason why Las Pinas became the greenest and the cleanest city in the course of attitude based on the community used to clean the surroundings to save the place toward dirtiness.
When I asked candy one of the Information Officers of Mam Cynthia, how it came into realized ‘’ it started from the assistance of the Local Government Unit ‘’ she explained.

The Las Pinas city government had created an ordinances of collecting garbage,It had put down into a system where simple garbage collection scheduled where it could be followed expectedly.
Simple instruction became into a modified one until there was such time that the executive reminds the people of Las Pinas not to leave their garbage along sidewalks outside of the scheduled for garbage collection.
There were quick response from barangay officials and it was provided reason and created a watch teams to be more vigilant against violators.
After they noticed that there was a change of behavior the unconcerned attitude of throwing garbage is now being restored and the community has the feeling of guilt in throwing anywhere of their own garbage.
Last March 21 ,2012 when the MEDIA TOUR of Pagadian City were scheduled to Las Pinas.

The water hyacinth fiber enterprise the aquatic plants floating on the rivers of Las Pinas commonly called as water lilies scientifically named as Eichhornia Crassipes to the family of Pontederiaceae and closely to the lily family.
The durability of the hyacinth it is introduced as an ornamental plants for use in publicin home gardens , It made its appearance in the year of 1884-1885 in WORLD Industrial and Cotton Centenial Exposition.
Congrew Cynthia Villar selected water hyacinth as their one of the most of the searching for a quicker source of income like getting hyacinth stalks and drying then sold to the weaving basket industry of their own factory .
Coconut Coir and Peat Enterprise.
Coconut tree which scientifically name as Cocos nucifera and it is so called as the TREE of LIFE that factually from fruits to the bark and all other parts can be very useful to all humane in this world like by eating the fruits drinking the water and making uses the lumber, shelter, fuel ,cleaning materials ,decorative items and etc.
Since 2008 the Villar foundation has distributed fifty-six twining equipment and thirty four weaving looms to sixty-eight families.
The coco coir enterprise has been purchased the additional twining equipment.
The fraction of the waste product of the mechanical process is the coconut granules and it is properly called as coir pith it emerged into horticulture and use as water absorbent so as to this cycle as environmentally friendly.
Coco coir cottage industry provides more livelihood opportunities to idle female labor .Reduces overall cost of garbage collections and the waste as coconut fiber contributes to the fertility of the soil.
The effect of a true experienced program helped to sustain life in a simple way by maintaining livelihood for the common people.
